Born in 1995, Naduo Zhang started the cello at the age of 5. In 2008, she attended the middle school affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory and studied cello with Prof. Min Cao.

In 2014, she joined Prof. Julius Berger’s class in Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum of Augsburg University. She obtained the Master of Arts in music pedagogy under prof. Danjulo Ishizaka in the Music Academy Basel in 2021. And in 2023 she finished the study of Meisterklasse under prof. Jakob Spahn in Nuremberg.

Naduo worked as intern in the Swiss orchestras such as Berner Symphony Orchestra (2023) and Gstaad Festival Orchestra (2019).She won Andreas-Stein Competition in Augsburg in 2018 and received national prizes such as the 1st prize at Chamber Music Competition of Central Conservatory and 2nd prize at Joseph Haydn Competition in Shanghai.

Naduo has played in masterclasses of Ivan Monighetti, Gustav Rivinius, Young-Chang Cho, Hans Jorgen Jensen, Hatto Beyerle and Juilliard Quartet. She has performed in music halls around the world such as Victoria Hall in Genève, Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, Toppan Hall in Tokyo und Helsinki Music Hall. Naduo has participated in many masterclasses such as Gstaad String Academy, Kronberg Festival, Cello Academy Rutesheim, Salzburg Masterclass and Seiji Ozawa Academy. She was active in many competitions such as Janigro Competition and Enescu Competition.
